Designer and GENEALOGIST

I combine my love of genealogy with over 20 years of web design experience to build websites that help genealogists look professional, build trust, and connect with more clients.

As a one-person business, I offer personal, hands-on help from start to finish. My goal is simple: a professional website that’s fully yours, one you understand, control, and are proud to share.

I also run two other small businesses: More Than A Branch, a family tree chart shop, and Artspark Web Design, design studio for small businesses.

I designed the logo and website for the Colorado Chapter of the Association of Professional Genealogists, which helped them win the well-known Golden Chapter Award.

Knowledgeable

I hold a certificate from Boston University’s Genealogical Research Program, along with certificates in Graphic and Web Design from Sessions College.

I also played a lead role as social media creator for History for Ukraine, a 24-hour live-stream history marathon in April 2022. Featuring speakers like Blaine Bettinger, Judy Russell, Charles Spencer, and Prof. Kate Williams, the event raised over $65,000.

A Few Fun Facts

Research
I love doing genealogy research at night, once everyone’s asleep, with the cat on my desk and the dog snoring by my feet.
Breakthrough
I found a “gateway ancestor” for my husband, he’s technically blue-blooded now, but I still ask him to take out the trash.
Plans
To gather my ancestors from the last 7-8 generations and create family tree posters for them.
Discovery
I learned that my 4th-great-grandfather, a miller in South Holland, was killed by his own windmill.
Ancestry
I am the Dutchest of the Dutch. I go back generations upon generations in the Netherlands.
