I am a WEB DESIGNER who knows GENEALOGY as well as you do.

I’m Ilka, a genealogist and award-winning designer helping fellow genealogists show up online with confidence and style. I create professional Genealogist WordPress websites and Canva templates that are easy to use, visually polished, and designed to attract clients. Every site is tailored to your brand and expertise, so your online presence feels uniquely you, trustworthy, and memorable.

As a one-person business, I provide personal, hands-on support from start to finish—whether it’s customizing a template, guiding you through setup, or answering questions along the way. My goal is a professional website you own, control, and are proud to share.

I also run More Than A Branch, a family tree chart shop, and Artspark Web Design, a small-businesses design studio.

I designed the logo and website for the Colorado Chapter of the Association of Professional Genealogists, helping them earn the prestigious Golden Chapter award.

Knowledgeable

I hold a Certificate from Boston University’s CPE Genealogical Research Program, as well as Certificates in Graphic and Web Design from Sessions College for Professional Design.

I also played a lead role as social media creator for History for Ukraine, a 24-hour live-stream history marathon in April 2022. Featuring speakers like Blaine Bettinger, Judy Russell, Charles Spencer, and Prof. Kate Williams, the event raised over $65,000.
