AG® · Accredited Genealogist®

Every family has a story worth preserving. My mission is to help you tell yours.

As an Accredited Genealogist®, I bridge the gap between names on a page and the lived experiences of your ancestors. Originally from the United States and now residing in Bordeaux, France, I bring both transatlantic perspective and rigorous methodology to every project I take on.

My primary specialization is the U.S. Great Lakes region, where I trace lineages through state, county, church, and vital records. I also work with Italian records from the mid-19th century onward, and I am actively expanding my expertise in French archival records to support cross-border and immigrant ancestry research. For clients researching other U.S. states, I can assist with records dating back to the 1840s.

Every project I deliver is evidence-based, clearly documented, and written for both accuracy and readability, so your family’s history becomes something you can actually hold onto and share.

Beyond research, I am passionate about genealogy education. I offer beginner and intermediate courses designed to help you navigate records with confidence and sharpen your own investigative skills.

Families Who Found Their Stories

Hearing from clients whose family histories have been uncovered and preserved is the greatest reward of this work.

Roma uncovered four generations of my Ohio family that I had completely hit a wall on. Her report was extraordinarily detailed — every source cited, every conclusion explained. I finally understand where my great-great-grandparents came from and what their lives looked like. This was worth every penny.

Family Research Client

I hired Roma to trace my Italian grandmother’s village of origin, something I’d tried and failed to do on my own for years. She located the original civil registration records, confirmed the family name variants, and even provided translated summaries. Professional, thorough, and a genuinely lovely person to work with.

Italian Heritage Research

Roma’s genealogy class was the best thing I ever did for my family history hobby. I went in knowing almost nothing about reading old records and came out with real skills and confidence. She has a wonderful teaching style, patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the subject.
